Tacos on the SnowPeak Camp Kitchen, backing up 45° inclines on the Adventure Track, giggling through acceleration tests and conducting fruitful consumer interviews - Rivian's FirstMile program set the stage for first drives with preorder holders in Normal, IL.
This experience provides the opportunity to see, touch and learn about our vehicles up close, as well as the chance to drive them in select locations around the country. We helped them host a group of new drivers to meet the team and kick up some dirt in the R1T.
We designed eco-friendly signage to guide enthusiasts through their experience both in the exploratory campus and the drive course. Large display cases held everything from design team inspiration to accessories. Four sheds arranged to emulate Rivian's compass logo, contained charging exhibits, color palette research, and dozens of familiar sporting goods & roadtirp must haves to test the R1T's storage capacity.

Handing over the keys (or key-carabiner in this case) to enable guests to experience a drive like never before wasn't the only reward. Rivian's entire events, marketing and manufacturing teams, got to witness the joy in firsthand reactions and gain valuable feedback. The next stop is Santa Clarita, CA. We'll look forward to being passed by the R1T out on the open road.
