Content Production

K2 was born on Vashon Island, Washington — not in a boardroom, but in a garage, with little but raw materials and a willingness to try something nobody had tried before. Sixty years later, that same restless spirit still runs through everything they make.

But legacy has a way of accumulating. Years of growth across skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, and beyond had left the identity scattered — a patchwork of eras rather than a unified point of view. The bones were good. The soul was intact. What was needed was the kind of work that doesn't announce itself loudly: a careful reassembly, a clearing of the clutter, a return to something essential. This® was brought in to do exactly that — to honor the irreverent, all-American DNA that made K2 a household name on every mountain from the Cascades to the Alps, while building the structural discipline a modern, multi-category icon demands.

Credits - Kudos to the krew at K2 John Colonna, Thomas Johnson, Pete Stolz, Jon Roy and Brad Walters. Creative direction and strategic leadership was provided by Toby Grubb and Denis Kegler while Sean Gorant and Kevin Evans collaborated on the Art Direction and Brand Design. Project Management by the one and only Conner Runia. All content capture belongs to brand partners.

This® get’s it, and they deliver. Our experience was dynamic. They brought a fresh perspective by truly leveraging the strengths across the entire team, and evolved three brands in our portfolio at a vital time. This® is a solid creative and strategic partner and I back them 175%.
